How to Wear a Turtleneck 5 Ways: Story Series!

Hi guys! Here are all the links for the items (or similar items!) styled in my “How to Style a Turtleneck” story series today!

Outfit #1: With faux leather leggings

Chunky black turtleneck: Marked down!! It’s c/o Everlane, runs big–wearing size S but probably could’ve gone XS. Supposed to be oversized though! This Topshop version is similar and also super cute! If you want something a bit more form-fitting, I would highly recommend Everlane’s cashmere turtleneck! I also love this longer tunic version

Faux leather leggings: The one’s I’m wearing here are from college ?but I always recommend Spanx brand faux leather leggings! (I just couldn’t find my Spanx ones in time for this shoot) I think they’re TTS but if you want them a bit more relaxed looking you may want to size up. (I didn’t though.) I’ve also tried Commando brand and liked those too!

Leopard loafers  Sam Edelman (30% off!!)–they are SO comfy. No break in! Run TTS. I’ve worn them a TON on the blog, just search “leopard loafers.” I also love them in black–great Gucci dupes!

Outfit #2: With navy work pants

Chunky black turtleneck: Marked down!! It’s c/o Everlane, runs big–wearing size S but probably could’ve gone XS. Supposed to be oversized though! This Topshop version is similar and also super cute! If you want something a bit more form-fitting, I would highly recommend Everlane’s cashmere turtleneck! I also love this longer tunic version

Navy work pants: Everlane (I’m wearing the ankle version and I’m 5’6 for reference. They have full length as well!) but they just came out with this new version that is even cuter! I ordered my true size but they’re pretty tight in the butt for some office environments, so if you want them looser I might suggest sizing up. See where I styled and reviewed them in this blog post. I also really love their Go Weave Easy Pants which are great for the office but also for outside of work too! Those run TTS.

Pointed toe Flats: The one’s I’m wearing here are old, but these are very similar! I really lovethese pointed toe flats (they come in leopard, which would make this outfit even cuter!) I also love this pretty Sam Edelman version! Also, I have heard SO MANY good things about Rothy’s–Kelly has several pairs and she basically wears nothing else these days! I personally think that pointed toes make this outfit look a bit more refined, but regular ballet flats would totally work here too!

Outfit #3: With white skinny jeans + neutral booties

Chunky black turtleneck: Marked down!! It’s c/o Everlane, runs big–wearing size S but probably could’ve gone XS. Supposed to be oversized though! This Topshop version is similar and also super cute! If you want something a bit more form-fitting, I would highly recommend Everlane’s cashmere turtleneck! I also love this longer tunic version

White skinny jeans: Madewell–also at Shopbop and Nordstrom. I can’t tell you how many people told me I had to get these jeans. (I asked your opinions on white jeans last year when I was on the hunt and kept hitting dead-ends with see through jeans) and these do not disappoint! I’ve worn them on the blog a lot, most recently in this post–”3 ways to wear white jeans this winter.” Run true to size!

Tan booties: Mine are old, but similar here (they’re waterproof! You guys rave about these!) here, and here!

Plaid scarf: old but similar here (on sale!) and here

Outfit #4: With cropped jeans and cap-toes

Chunky black turtleneck: Marked down!! It’s c/o Everlane, runs big–wearing size S but probably could’ve gone XS. Supposed to be oversized though! This Topshop version is similar and also super cute! If you want something a bit more form-fitting, I would highly recommend Everlane’s cashmere turtleneck! I also love this longer tunic version

Jeans: Levi’s Wedgie Jeans–they have TONS of different styles/washes! (I can’t find my exact color right now though)–Shopbop and Nordstrom have a good selection! Wedgie jeans tend to run a bit on the small side and don’t have a lot of give! I also LOVE Everlane’s cheeky straight jeans (I own them as well) and they are a similar style, but without the raw hem! They run TTS!

Cap toe shoes: Mine are super old, but this pair is identical and Sam Edelman makes dupe pair too! These are some of my favorite shoes and I think they make everything you pair them with look so French and classy!

Brown ankle booties: c/o Everlane! I have been wearing these NON STOP since I got them! (I also have them in black, I love them so much!) They are the comfiest booties you’ll ever own–I love how minimalistic and chic they are. They run TTS. I also wore them about 100 different ways in my Capsule Wardrobe 30 Days of Outfits Guide

Outfit #5: With a leopard midi skirt

Chunky black turtleneck: Marked down!! It’s c/o Everlane, runs big–wearing size S but probably could’ve gone XS. Supposed to be oversized though! This Topshop version is similar and also super cute! If you want something a bit more form-fitting, I would highly recommend Everlane’s cashmere turtleneck! I also love this longer tunic version

Skirt: J.Crew–runs TTS. Wearing a 0!

Pumps: Sam Edelman (these are an old style, I’ve had them for years, but there are several updated versions!)

Hope you guys liked this little try on session! Make sure to head over to see my friends Conni, Natalie, Rebecca, Caitlin on see how they styled their turtlenecks on their stories!
