Jacket: SUPER old (like, basically vintage. Purchased pre-blogging days in 2012 from the Urban Outfitters Outlet ?) but I’m obsessed with this very similar one from Abercrombie! (Also comes in a really cute lighter shade of camo, a solid gray, solid green, and the CUTEST pink color, too! Old Navy has a really similar one too! I also like this version! Graphic tee: J.Crew via Nordstrom (also available at J.Crew (also obsessed with this striped tee! So fun and springy!) Also is it weird that I’m in love with this vintage-inspired Levi’s tee!? Jeans: Levi’s Wedgie Straight Jeans (also available at Shopbop and Anthropologie!) Mine are the “Wedgie straight” but I also love the original Wedgies which are a bit more tapered! (Come in a darker blue, too!) Sneakers: Jack Purcell (love the classic white Converse, too!) Sunnies: Ray Ban (also come in the slightly smaller 50mm size) Tote: Madewell Transport Tote (I have the OG brown leather version, but they have so many different varieties! I’m especially crushing on the new blush color. I really want the drawstring convertible tote-bucket version, too!) Earrings: Baublebar (similar here, and here too!)
Happy Monday!
Did you guys have a good weekend? We had a great one!
On Friday we went to our favorite BYOB Cuban spot (90 Mile Cuban Cafe!) with my cousin Debbie and her husband David (they’re my mom’s cousins but really more like my aunt and uncle and we have so much fun with them whenever they’re in town!) On Saturday we went to Frontier to celebrate our good friend Matt’s birthday, and got to catch up with so many of Neal’s college friends we hadn’t seen in awhile! They did a whole boar roast dinner and it was INSANE. It’s such a perfect guy birthday dinner idea ? Their food is seriously amazing! After a bunch of us went to Louie’s Pub (one of our favorite neighborhood Karaoke spots) and Neal brought down the house with his rendition of Macy Grey’s, “I Try”–like I said, it was a great weekend ?
Anyway, these photos are from LAST weekend when we met up with Shaheen, Trevor and Zain and went to lunch at Chop Shop. It was so much fun and Zain was so good! After we went to Tapster–have you ever been? It’s such a fun hangout spot–all the beers are on like, smart taps so you get a card when you go in and tap the card to pour your own beer or craft cocktail, and it records by ounce how much you pour–then you cash out at the end! It’s a really cool concept and also such a cute space, they have a bunch of fun board games, too!
Of course, as typically happens whenever Shaheen, Kelly and Blair and I meet up–we’re often matching in some capacity ? Shaheen and I were both wearing our utility jackets (hers is just solid green–it’s this Levi’s version!) and white sneakers (hers were the white Allbirds, which you guys know I am obsessed with! I have them in grey but really want the white version too!)
I absolutely love my camo jacket. I’ve had it for YEARS–since I was 22 and found it on sale at Urban Outfitters. What’s so funny is I never thought it would be one of the sole wardrobe survivors of my early twenties ? But truthfully, it goes with everything, and I always find that it’s the perfect thing to throw on to give my outfit a little twist and a punch of personality! Like I said, it’s super old, but there are a lot of similar ones out right now that I’ll link below!

I usually try to pair it with something cute and feminine–in this case, it’s my graphic tee with these adorable little bathing beauties on it! I love it because something about it reminds me of our upcoming Italy trip this summer because and I will be laying on the beach in Positano jussssttt like this ? I love that cute, cheeky graphic tees are making a comeback! I’m rounding up my favorites below. (So many cute French-girl-esque verisons, too!)

Additionally, I love that these Levi’s Wedgie jeans add a little dose of trendy/edginess (I mean, you know, for me. I’m not edgy, these are about my limit ?–raw hem but still classic!) These jeans are so comfy and the fact that they’re high-waisted make them super flattering! The pair I have are the straight version, but they also come in a classic version that are a little more tapered at the bottom! Rounding up my favorite washes below:
