I am feeling quite accomplished to be here sharing my first try-on in FOR. EVER. (Sorry about that.) I am so lucky to feel very “myself” at 30 weeks pregnant, but sometimes the third trimester sneaks up on me and this is one of those times–I felt like I had sprinted a marathon after filming this! (I’ll be sharing the video version in stories later today, so make sure to check back then if you haven’t seen it yet!)
For whatever reason, shooting style content is a LOT more draining than other blog content!? It was worth it though, because I have quite a few new items I am excited to share with you, perfect as the warmer weather is rolling in, so I’m glad I finally got around to doing it! (And thank you for your patience during this time.)
From loungewear to comfy casual summery staples, hopefully you’ll love these reccos! Note that all of these items are NOT maternity with the exception of the H&M lounge set.
Spring + Summer Try-On: New Items I’m Loving! (From Loungewear to Dresses!)
Oversized tee + bike short lounge set:
I first purchased this set in the green color and featured it as part of On A High Note a few weeks back–I have been loving it so much that I ordered the pink color. It’s the perfect lounge outfit to wear around the house–pajamas, but they look more stylish. I will admit that maybe this set can seem silly and costumey (especially because it comes with a very strange seatbelt-like belt? Just disregard that. It’s part of the Amazon charm.) but I don’t care because the bubblegum colors make me happy and it is SO SO soft.
I will say I prefer the green (it’s more minty in person than it looks on the product page), both because of color preference and I think the pink is a bit sheer. The material is lightweight (so again, perfect for lounge) but I would never wear the shorts on their own without a longer shirt because one just needs thicker fabric in a pair of tight shorts, ya know what I mean?
Sizing: I went up a size to medium for LR and they’re very stretchy!
Amazon off the shoulder midi dress:
Same maker as the mumu–they make the cutest dresses. I loved the look of this one and I have been buying everything smocked lately because it’s perfect for pregnancy (and I don’t have to size up because–STRETCH–meaning I can order my non-pregnancy size and it will fit long after I don’t have a bump or huge boobs anymore.)

Amazon Mumu jumpsuit:
I wore this to our first picnic in the park of the season (a couple weeks ago, when it was 80 degrees that one day) and I promised you all a try-on of it (I was sitting down in the photo so it was hard to see) and I am finally making good on my promise.
If you love a good mumu dress, you will love the JUMPSUIT! Same concept, but more functional because, pants! (It’s not the same brand as the mumu, I just call it, ‘the mumu jumpsuit’ because it’s the same kind of flowy, amazingly soft fabric). Perfect for all the summer activities, kid chasing, picnicking, and the like.
Sizing: VERY LOOSE and roomy. I’m wearing a small and it’s still got plenty of room for this 30-week belly.
Oversized Abercrombie tie-dye tee
I have worn this tee more times than I can count since it came in about a week ago–it is SO SOFT. Granted, it’s not supposed to be THIS oversized–I went up two sizes from my regular pre-pregnancy size–I wanted it to be very roomy and long for the third trimester. Comes in tons of colors, but I love the neutral tye-die. Looks so cute with bike shorts and plenty of room to knot.
Sizing: Oversized, so order accordingly based on how you’d like it to fit!
Oatmeal bike shorts
Another great Abercrombie find–I know, I’m amassing quite a few pairs these days. BUT I loved the cross-over v-shape of the waistband, the oatmeal color, and how they’re more loungey vs. workout shorts. They’ll look super cute with button-downs and more casual tunic-length tops.
H&M maternity soft sweat shorts:
One of my very few maternity items that I’ve purchased–I LOVE these shorts, they are amazing and so comfortable. They have a stretchy wide panel that goes over your belly BUT it’s not attached to the top of the waistband, there’s about an inch or two of room in between, so you can actually front tuck things into the waistband (which is my biggest pet peeve with maternity jeans or anything with a belly band!) I also love the oatmeal color!
Matching maternity sweatshirt:
I know this short sleeve hoodie isn’t my usual style but I love a good matching set and I figured, why not try out a more sporty look? I love it! It’s so comfortable! I know it’ll be very appreciated during the sleepless newborn days coming up soon too.
Not pictured but related: Speaking of maternity items from H&M, I wanted some comfortable undies to sleep in and got these MAMA 5 pack cotton undies and I LOVE THEM. They’re everything I wanted. If you’re pregnant and wanting more soft, comfortable underwear, these are it!
Nordstrom Treasure & Bond Beachy Sweater:
Just got in this sweater in two colors (second pictured below). I love a good summery beachy sweater–great with jeans, jean shorts (or in this case, the H&M shorts from above) or thrown over a bathing suit for the beach! Since it’s a summery sweater it is sheer so you’ll want something like a tank underneath if you aren’t wearing it as a cover up!
Sizing: Runs TTS. I sized up to a medium bc of LR.

AGolde Reese Jean Shorts:
Just styling this with these to show options–these aren’t new (well, they’re KIND of new–I got them before Florida!) You can read my whole review of them right here! (They’re not maternity haha, I’m wearing them unbuttoned with a belly band!)
Oversized linen H&M button-down:
As you probably know by now, I LOVE a good linen button-down, and button-downs are one of the few “regular” tops (i.e. not tees or loungewear) that work with the bump these days. I also love wearing them as swim cover ups in the summer! Sadly the natural color I have is sold out but they still have white, black, and a pretty green color!
Sizing: Very roomy AND I went up two sizes for LR and because I wanted it to be oversized!
BB Dakota Floral Maxi:
This one is selling fast and only has a couple sizes left, but I adore this dress!! The print is so cute and feminine and it looks great with or without a belt. The material is very breathable and super light so it will be great for hot summer days!
Sizing: I got my pre-pregnancy size (small) and it’s plenty roomy!
Stretchy rattan Amazon belt:
Despite not actually measuring myself and ordering the totally incorrect size. I adore this belt and I think it makes everything look way more chic!
Vineyard Vines tiered chambray dress:
Vineyard Vines sent me a couple of their new items that are bump-friendly and I cannot wait to wear them this summer! I love this little tiered chambray dress, it’s so soft and the perfect thing to wear on those hot sticky days when you don’t want ANYTHING touching you! It will also look SO cute with my favorite white sneaks! They actually have a ton of bump-friendly non-maternity dresses, so if you’re in the market, definitely peruse their selection!
Sizing: TTS. Wearing a small–it’s very roomy!
Gauzy popover and matching smocked shorts:
Another VV outfit–the shorts are smocked so they’re bump-friendly and SO comfortable. This would be a perfect duo for travel because it’s perfect for the beach as a cover-up, for walking around with a pair of sneakers or flats, or you can dress up the top for dinner with a pair of jeans or a skirt!
Sizing: Run TTS, I’m wearing smalls that are almost too small for the bump but will be perfect when LR arrives!
