8 types of items to buy during the ShopBop Sale

Mar 2, 2016

It’s that time of the year again–oh, what? Spring, you’re thinking? No…I meant the ShopBop sale. Chicago totally made a mockery out of March 1st with some major blizzard action, let me tell you. Spring? Not yet. Nooo sir.

However, despite this fact, yes, it IS about that time–the time to stock up on spring essentials, even though you might have to hold off on wearing them JUST yet.

If you aren’t a regular ShopBop shopper, honestly, neither am I. I’m more of a Nordstrom girl–HOWEVER I am drawn like a moth to a flame to their Amazon Prime shipping partnership, knowing I can have anything from their site in my hands in less than 3 days for FREE is a pretty powerful thing. (Addicting is the word I might use here.)

But if I’m being honest, I used to think ShopBop was geared toward blissfully wealthy women who like to blow their money on things like matching $1300 BFF leather jackets (???) and less toward real people like you and me.

However, I think their selection has recently gotten a LOT better in the way of classic, reasonably priced staples! So much so that, I actually started shopping there a lot recently! So if you’ve written off ShopBop in the past, I urge you to take a look again.

The best time to shop ShopBop (say that 10x fast) is during one of their major sales, one of which is happening as we speak. The more you buy, the more you save! The best way to take advantage of the discount is to pair up with some friends, and go in on your order together. Here are the discounts you can expect at a glance:

This is the time to buy those big ticket items you’ve had your eye on–like a leather jacket, or spring handbag. OR, go through your spring items, take inventory, and see what you else you need to fill in the holes in your wardrobe! Stock up now, and get all your shopping done at once. Here are the best things to buy during the sale:

Spring Dresses:

There are a ton of dresses to choose from right now over at ShopBop–one of my favorites is this absolutely adorable and budget friendly number (coming in a post soon!) They also have a lot of really cute off the shoulder/ruffle dresses that are worth checking out, and perfect for that warm spring vacation you have coming up!

Spring Outerwear:

Spring trenches, leather jackets, military jackets and more, there are some good deals on cute, lighter outerwear to be had.

Spring Heels & Flats:

Wedges, colorful cage heels, espadrilles, gladiators–lot’s of cute summery and springy sandals ripe for the picking. (If you do it right, you can also snag THE Ferragamo Varina flats for $130 off!!)

Spring Handbags:

Since handbags are usually big ticket items when it comes to price, you’ll get the most bang for your buck if you buy one now! They have a great selection of Rebecca Minkoff especially!

Spring Denim:

Light colored jeans, white jeans, flares, the cutest jean shorts, and more. Loving their entire denim selection right now!

Spring Swimwear:

I love love their selection of one-pieces right now. They have a ton of gorgeous, classic black one-piece options, and I especially love this striped one-piece (above) that’s reversible

Books, Notebooks, Home and Tech Accessories:

Super random, right? But ShopBop is actually one of my favorite places for little knick-knacks like coffee table books, sticky notes, notebooks, tumbler cups, and the like. And hello, this Kate Spade picnic blanket? How cute is that?

Fun Pool toys:

ALL THE POOL FLOATS ARE BACK. These things sold out like HOT CAKES last year. I know it feels early to jump the gun, but if you envision yourself on a floating slice of pizza or giant swan this year, you should probably act fast.

If any of these items spoke to your wardrobe (and your wallet) click here to get shopping! The good stuff won’t be around for long!
