“Before diving into your to-dos for the week, enjoy a laugh from this adorable and crafty baby who has the best facial expressions.” — Kendall
“Okay, Kendall and I both have really good ones for the ‘laugh’ category this week. I’m a big fan of Meena Harris–she happens to be Kamala Harris’ niece and is also the founder of Phenomenal (who makes the cute “Girl Dad” sweatshirt I got Neal and my favorite “ambitious” sweatshirt!) Her recent post on McSweeny’s (one of my absolute favorite websites) had me laughing out loud. A great way to start your Monday.” –Jess

“I love these micro-habit ideas for taking a different approach to frustrating situations, feeling more organized in life and pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone As the writer says, “If there’s one lesson I’m repeatedly learning, it’s that we have to ask for what we want in life. Sometimes you get it, sometimes you don’t. But you have to ask.‘” — Kendall
“I just got a sale that Mango is running a 30% off sale–but weirdly, I don’t see it when I go to the website, only when I click through the email link! Maybe it’s a secret sale? (Or maybe I just have pregnancy brain?) Either way–they have SO many cute dresses, and I just got two I have been loving. (My yellow gingham one I’ve been loving lately keeps selling out, but keep checking back–FYI, it runs really roomy! I got a 2.)” –Jess

“I’m guessing a lot of you are or have considered buying in the last year! The pandemic inspired a lot of moves recently and the real estate market is insane almost everywhere! If you’re considering buying or are discouraged that buying isn’t in the cards right now, check out this New York Times breakdown on how renters are actually saving right now — almost everywhere.‘” — Kendall
The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory
“(If you’re looking to buy the physical copy online, considering buying via Bookshop.org to support a small bookshop! Also including the Amazon link here.) I have been in a MAJOR reading rut lately, but just finished The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory and it was SUCH a delight. I think I just needed a lighter romcom book to break me out of my funk, and this was it! It was my first book I’ve read by the author, but won’t be my last. A great beach or vacation read, especially!” –Jess

“I was scrolling through Instagram one night when I saw this headline and felt very seen. For a variety of reasons, I recently started a bad habit of staying up way too late. I had overbooked my days, which turned into weeks and months, and was starting to feel burnt out by the end of each day. To squeeze in some “me time,” I started dipping into my sleep time. Turns out, this is a real thing called bedtime procrastination. If you’ve found yourself staying up too late as well even though you know your future self will suffer, check out this article on how to curb the habit!” — Kendall
“I just got an email that Mango is running a 30% off sale and they have SO many cute dresses. I recently ordered two that I have been loving. (My yellow gingham one above I’ve been wearing a ton lately keeps selling out, but keep checking back–FYI, it runs really roomy! I got a 2.) If you’ve been wanting some flowy, loose, wear-everywhere summer dresses, I highly recommend perusing their selection!” –Jess
