Carla Llanos' 'Las Flores'

“I love following Chilean artist, Carla Llanos, on Instagram! (You’ve likely seen her amazing artwork all over social media!) She just released a new collection of floral prints and I love all of them so much I have decision fatigue over which ones to pick! I want to get one for LR’s room–which is your favorite? You can buy them on her website or Etsy!” –Jess

A big batch of Raspberry Iced Tea

A big batch of Raspberry Iced Tea | On a High Note Vol 46

“Do you ever make iced tea at home? It’s the best treat to have in the fridge (especially if you’re trying to watch your caffeine intake–the one I use is caffeine-free!) It’s so refreshing and tastes like summer. If you’ve been wanting to mix it up with your beverages, pick up some raspberry tea bags! I like to use “Raspberry Zinger” from Celestial Seasonings (which you can get at pretty much any store). It has hibiscus, rosehips, and orange peel in addition to raspberry flavor–you don’t even need any sweetener! I usually add about 5 tea bags or so to my pitcher of hot water, and then I let it steep until it’s a super dark red. (Since it’s an herbal tea, it won’t get bitter with the teabags sitting in it for too long!) Chill in the fridge!

Other fun additions: Fresh mint leaves, citrus slices, smashed berries (fresh or frozen), maybe even some basil!?” –Jess

Susan, Linda, Nina & Cokie–The Extraordinary Story of the Founding Mothers of NPR

Susan, Linda, Nina & Cokie–The Extraordinary Story of the Founding Mothers of NPR

“I developed my love of NPR in college as a journalism major. My favorite professor was an NPR correspondent, and the vintage clothing shop where I worked a few hours per week always had NPR playing in the store. I had always assumed NPR was the highly-esteemed news network it is today, and it wasn’t until yesterday when I saw a review for this new book, “Susan, Linda, Nina & Cokie–The Extraordinary Story of the Founding Mothers of NPR” did I realize not long ago, NPR was a tiny startup pioneered by the veteran journalists (all female) I have spent decades listening to–which was absolutely unprecedented at a time. I can’t wait to read it, and I thought many of you would feel the same way! (Will keep you posted on my review!)” –Jess

“Maybe it’s because I haven’t worn workwear in a very long time, but this style hack that I saw on IG from Jean blew my mind! I love the look of silk blouses — especially at the office — but loathe having to roll my sleeves up every few minutes. I’m bookmarking this for the next time I find myself back in a silk button-down! Love how effortless it makes the whole outfit look.” — Kendall
