The Benefits of a Quick Nightime Stretch Routine
Image via The Good Trade
“I’ve gone through stretching phases over the past few years, and I always kick myself when I fall out of the habit, because it feels so good! These days my workouts consist of pushing a stroller, but I’ve been incorporating stretching into my routine before bed and it does wonders for my body, mind and sleep. Check out this piece from The Good Trade for the benefits of stretching and a quick sequence that’s great to run through right before bed.” — Kendall

“My friend Jill shared about a brand the other day that I fell in love with and have been sharing on IG over the past week! Dynasty George is a new (launched during the pandemic) small, Brooklyn-based, WOC-owned brand that makes beautiful comfy house dresses designed to see women through all stages of their lives! (Adorable for those who don’t have kids, but also happen to be maternity and nursing friendly should you decide to take that path in life!) All the fabric used is also deadstock (aka, leftover fabric that would’ve been thrown away otherwise!) and made in a family-owned factory in India where all workers are paid fair living wages.
Dynasty was a full-time freelance fashion designer who got laid off WHILE pregnant with her first baby during the pandemic, and decided to use the opportunity to get her namesake brand off the ground. (How amazing is this?!) The brand is currently fundraising via Kickstarter and if you choose to contribute, you can be one of the first to get your hands on her new spring collection!
I ordered the Clementine dress (see photo below!) and I can’t wait to get it! It will be one I live in this summer, I know!!
How it works: Click here to go to the kickstarter page. Scroll down to read more about the brand and check out the lookbook to see what they are offering in exchange for a pledge for a certain amount. You can snag some cute accessories, or if you’ve got $150 to spend, you can get one of her beautiful dresses! Then click “back this project” and select which one you want!”

The Best Ways to Cope if You’re Hitting a Pandemic Wall
“While the light at the tunnel feels so close, the last hurdle to the pandemic finish line can feel especially exhausting. The anniversary of lockdown/life as we’ve known it for the past year also reminded us of the time we’ve lost being apart from friends and family and the life we used to lead. If you’re feeling like you’re hitting a pandemic wall, check out these coping mechanisms from experts!”–Kendall

A.Golde Parker Shorts part of Bloomingdales Sale!
“My most worn pair of jean shorts for years now (I also got another A.Golde pair recently but this pair has been my summer wardrobe workhorse for a long time now!) and they are never on sale, but they seem to be part of Bloomingdale’s friends and family sale!
I have the color “swapmeet” and take my normal size! (In normal times, obviously these shorts do not fit me right now ????) I know they’re an investment but the cost per wear has been immeasurable because they are so great and they aren’t tight on my thighs (my biggest jean short pet peeve). You can read my whole review on them here.” –Jess
J.Crew Sophie Blazer- on sale!

On a High Note: Vol 42
“The J.Crew sweater blazer that comes in a bunch of great colors is on sale right now! I snagged a few of these in the fall, and I’ve been wearing them on repeat. They are the perfect combination of put-together/professional and cozy and comfortable. I grab them all the time for Zoom meetings and they’d be great to have handy on your desk chair at the office. The epitome of a “wear now, wear later” piece that works in all seasons! Plus, you’ll live in it when it’s time to go back to the office!” — Kendall

“Feel Good Dinner” playlist on Spotify
“Neal discovered this playlist when we were in Florida and we’ve been listening to it ever since! It’s the perfect thing to put on when you’re cooking, eating dinner, doing the dishes–whatever! It’s happy, upbeat, and we were getting really sick of our usual music so it was a very welcome mix-up! I think you’ll love it too!” –Jess
