Meet The New "Clean" Shower Brand That Donates 100% of Profits to Homeless

Okay guys,

You’re going to love this post today! Everyone is always asking for more clean brand recommendations that are budget-friendly, and, of course––it always feels better to purchase brands who are putting good back into the world! (Plus, who doesn’t love a great new Whole Foods buy!?)

So, when The Right to Shower got in touch with me and asked if I wanted to work together–it was an obvious, immediate–YES! Of COURSE I wanted to help spread their message–it’s an incredible one.

 The Right To Shower products

The concept the brand is founded upon is simple:

On any given day, 550,000 Americans experiencing homelessness don’t have regular access to a shower. The Right To Shower is a new range of shower products that is working to fix that. With every product you buy, you help build mobile showers for people living on the streets. In 2019 (their first year) they’ve pledged to donate 100% of profits to their cause.

How does it work?

The Right To Shower has teamed up with mobile shower NGOs around the country to help achieve this goal. Their partners, like California based Lava Mae, bring critical services to the street – from converting old public transportation busses into mobile bathrooms and shower units, to creating Pop Up Care Villages that bring not just showers and bathrooms to those who need them, but food, medical care, haircuts, and even live music! They call the concept ‘Radical Hospitality’ – meant to rekindle dignity and hope for those experiencing homelessness. (You can watch video clips of their pop ups on Lava Mae’s instagram stories!) It’s so cool!

What about the products? Are they good?

Available at Whole Foods and Amazon, they’re mild, gentle, feel great, and best of all, they’re sulfate, paraben and phthalate free, with no artificial colors. They’re vegan, 100% recyclable packaging, mild and gentle on the skin, and they’re all multi-purpose–meaning they work on body, hair, face and hands! (AKA Extra great for kids and husbands. ?)

Oh, plus, they’re under $12 for a 16oz bottle! A complete steal! Each of the scents also smell AMAZING:

Joy:

A light, bright citrusy scent with tangerine, grapefruit and honeysuckle. So refreshing!

Dignity:

Charcoal and Cotton blossom–detoxifies and smells like crisp clean sheets blowing in the breeze…mixed with baby powder! Hard to describe, but really good. ?

Hope:

Made with aloe + dewy moss–I love this scent, it reminds me of warm summer day!

Strength:

Red ginger and current–a warm, spicy, soothing smell!

Next time you’re in Whole Foods or shopping with Prime, make sure to add one of these products to your cart to stock your shower and give back to an amazing cause!
