They’re here, they’re here! It’s the official LAUNCH DAY for my VOTE TEE in collaboration with my wonderful friend, Alice & Wonder! (You know the adorable Chicago tees and sweatshirts I wear all the time? That’s her!) We had so much fun designing this with YOU and getting your feedback along the way.
Those who were on my pre-sale email list got the chance to buy their tees last week (they went so fast we did THREE restocks!!) and I’m already hearing so many raving reviews (which means the world!) I hope all of you love the end result and much as Ali and I loved creating them!
A&W x Jess Keys VOTE Tee
How it all began: Ali, Alice & Wonder’s founder, and I have been friends since she started her business (it seems like a lifetime ago, but in reality, it was probably more like…five years ago?!)
A&W started out as an online boutique dedicated to stocking fun, stylish items at $100 or less! (She now also has a storefront location in Lincoln Park!) We met through the Chicago blogging scene when she reached out to me to model in one of her photoshoots–we instantly hit it off, and have been friends ever since! I’m so excited to finally be able to bring this partnership to life!
When 2020 rolled around, it became clear that there was only ONE kind of partnership was called for during this time, and that is…a VOTE tee. The need for change has never been more dire, and change is only possible when we ALL work together and get involved! And what better way to fire us all up than a cute tee!? I don’t know about you, but I would say political fashion is indeed the most important fashion trend for fall 2020!
The best part–10% of proceeds from our VOTE tee will be donated to Vote Save America’s Every Last Vote Fund to support on-the-ground efforts to mobilize Black, brown, indigenous, and other marginalized communities that are routinely victims of targeted voter disenfranchisement efforts.

Inclusive sizing:
This was an absolute must when we kicked off this project! The tee is available in sizes ranging from XS to 4X!

Material:
The tee is SO incredibly soft and lightweight! Another thing I love (and this is also a random thing to love so much, but I’m nit-picky about my tees ????) is that the tag tears completely out, so it doesn’t scratch you!) You will want to sleep in this tee its so comfy! Because it’s a lighter weight, you’ll want to wear it with a nude bra, just FYI! (Which is what I’m wearing with it here!)
Sizing: These are unisex sizes, so they run oversized.
I got a size medium because, you know, I like everything very oversized these days, and I like the knotted, oversized tee look with bike shorts and leggings! Personally I could’ve gone with a small too, it just depends on how you prefer your tees to fit! If I had wanted it SNUG I would go with an XS. Again, just depends on how you like your tees to fit.
The tee is very easily knottable, and it’s also long, so if you prefer your tees long, you will love this one! (It looks so cute with bike shorts–see pic below!)

When will you receive your tee?
We’ve had SO MUCH amazing demand (way more than anticipated!!) and Alice & Wonder is a small business with a small team, so your patience is so appreciated while they fulfill orders!
Truth be told, I’ve never released a tee before. I had ZERO clue how many people would want one. (I had this deep fear that Ali would order a ton of shirts and we wouldn’t sell them. ????) So based on that, our ship times have become a little backed up as we’ve continued to place more orders with her printer! If you order your shirt today, the estimated ship date is by 9/28.
How fast will they go?
Based on how they’ve sold so far–REAL quick!! So if you really want one for you, a friend, or family member, make sure to snag it ASAP!
What if your size is sold out?
If you notice your size is sold out, I highly recommend clicking her “notify me when in stock” option on the product page. (It will show up when you click on the size that is sold out). The more restock requests we get, the more we’ll be able to gauge demand and decide if we should keep restocking! (Honestly, we might do a refresh today even based on how fast they’re selling–we want to do our best to ensure whoever wants one can get one. So keep your browser open and keep refreshing!)
What do I do after I’ve ordered my tee?
Make sure you’re registered to vote (triple check!) and make your voting plan. Head to Vote Save America to see your voting guidelines and deadlines by state. If you can, “Adopt” a swing state, and volunteer. (Note, we are not affiliated with Vote Save America–it’s just become my favorite, most helpful resource for all things voting!)
