WE DID IT.
We made it through the marathon of the holiday madness to the grand finale of HOLIDAY BREAK!!
I hope you have some time off ahead of you to relax, recharge, and spend time with friends and family. (AND hopefully some time to just yourself ideally with a good book and a glass of wine! ????)
I can’t begin to thank you for your support this year. 2019 was far and away my best year yet business-wise, and it was definitely one of the top years for us personally, too, and I have you to thank for so much of this.
Reflecting back on the last decade, this time 10 years ago, I was about to head into my last semester of college not knowing what the “real world” would hold for me. I never would’ve imagined that this dream job would be possible and that this would be my life. If you feel like you haven’t accomplished “enough” so far in your life, ask yourself what you were doing in 2010. I bet you’ll be floored by how far you’ve come.
The last 10 years have been my favorite years yet, and I can’t wait to see what the next decade holds. So many of my highs along the way have been because of you guys––I don’t think you could ever truly know how much you mean to me! Neal and I are both so incredibly grateful for this online family of ours, and so excited for what 2020 is going to bring for all of us!
To reset and recharge to come back fresh for the new year, I’ll be taking some time off from posting here on the blog over the next couple of weeks.
Like I’ve said before, the holidays are basically a marathon that only consists of sprinting for about 2 months straight, and girlfriend needs a BREAK. I hope if you’re in the same boat, you are taking a step back to do the same thing!
I haven’t exactly decided how much time off I’ll be taking exactly, but I’ll keep you posted over on Instagram–where of course, I will keep you updated with everything we’re up to. ????(In all honesty, probably not as much time as I think because after a few days I get antsy and miss writing. ????)
I’m heading to Oregon this morning to spend a few days with family (Neal gets there on the 29th!) and we’ll be back in Chicago to celebrate New Years at Kelly and Mitch’s followed by late night dinner at one of our favorites–Le Colonial!
LOVE YOU GUYS SO SO MUCH, and I’ll see you back here in 2020! ❤️
