GG x Busywrist

Nov 24, 2014

Bracelet stack: Busywrist (c/o) // Jacket, sweater, and hat: Barbour, Lincoln Park // High waisted jeans: Forever 21 // Fishtail bracelet: See Song Designs // Booties: Pour La Victoire (c/o) from TJ Maxx (similar)

Happy Monday!

I’m pretty giddy this morning, because I’ve got some pretty exciting announcements to make over the next couple days! Eeek!

First up: GG’s got her very own stack of bracelets! Yes, how freaking cool is that? It’s actually named The Golden Girl stack! (Pinch me, please.)

But the coolest part? It’s made by one of my new favorite local jewelry designers, busywrist. Not only do I want to wear every bracelet on their website, but founder, Megan Koranda, is maybe one of the coolest girls I’ve ever met. You know those people that you meet every so often and you just feel like you’ve been friends forever? That’s Megan. And I was SO excited when she asked me to collaborate. Turns out she and Neal went to high school together, too! Small world, right?

Megan is a total girlboss, and started her accessories company right out of college in 2011, knowing she had to bring her passions of jewelry design and graphic design to life. What was once a side hustle is now an amazing career. (She is certainly a busy girl, so the name is quite fitting, isn’t it?) The idea behind busywrist is to express your style by mixing, matching, and stacking as you please.

So let’s talk about the GG stack already! Well, the second I walked into her studio, I practically jumped on this giant blue druzie and started calling her Cookie Monster (she’s huge and blue, obviously). Megan evidently shares my dorky sense of humor as well, because the name stuck. And I clearly had to make it the focal point of the GG stack. She was the Blue Beyonce (which in hindsight, is probably a much better name than Cookie Monster). And let’s not forget the Kelly and Michelle — the leather weave and the little gold stretch bracelet (genuine 10K gold!). Together, they are, for lack of better words…the best thing ever.

If you want to purchase the GG stack for yourself, or for a holiday gift (hello, best gift ever) head over here! For a special 15% off discount, enter GOLDENGIRL15 at checkout! And while you’re at it, be sure to check out my interview with Megan on her blog!
