What are you up to this 4th of July? Ironically, we will be celebrating America’s birthday in France this year (eeek!) We’re thinking of heading to Normandy for the day though–which will be so cool to see, especially on the 4th of July! 

My favorite memories of the holiday growing up included lot’s of watermelon (with salt, of course), walking my dog in my hometown 4th of July parade, BBQ’s, and an annual trip to Old Navy to pick up a new American flag shirt. (Haha! Remember those?)

Needless to say, we will not be rocking any American flag gear this year (much to Neal’s dismay) however, I’m hoping to sport some type of red white and blue–you know, subtly.
